Website Coding & CMS Development See Details ↓

bold.ca (designed by FAC)

Designed by the awesome crew at Free Agency Creative, we were tasked with coding all of the web interface templates and setting up a robust backend with Craft CMS, enabling the client to easily update content and showcase their developments.

Background

We were honoured when Free Agency Creative (FAC), one of Vancouver's top design agencies, called us to build out a website for their new client: a company named BOLD. To be sure, the designs FAC handed us for Bold Properties were indeed bold. With regard to design, according to Bold, their belief is as follows:

"We believe the human experience should drive every detail."

We couldn't agree more.

Requirement

The ability to pick and choose content panel types (of infinite pre-determined design configurations) in order to enable the client to create a variety of layouts for any page, anywhere on the site.

Solution

Craft CMS turned out to be a perfect match for the project as the client needed the ability to create an infinite number of pages using a series of "panels" to pick and choose from depending on the content.

The ability to pick and choose content panel types (of infinite pre-determined design configurations) in Craft CMS makes creating new and interesting layouts a breeze for the client, without having to touch a line of code.

Editing pages never felt so easy

In Craft, fields are custom-fitted to whatever the design and content requirements are for each project. There are no templates or pre-determined field sets. What needs to be there is there - that's it!

Equally bold in it's mobile form as it is on the desktop

Thanks to the work of the designers at Free Agency Creative, the Bold website is equally bold in it's mobile form as it is on the desktop. Both are unique to the user experience and fully encapsulate the company's brand ethos.
