Squamish Helping Hands

Background

An established not for profit in the Squamish community, Squamish Helping Hands Society required a new website and a brand refresh in order to have the ability to communicate their organization's past, present and future plans, and improve outreach and fundraising opportunities.

A fresh brand identity

Beginning with a logo and brand identity refresh, we worked with graphic designer Kelli Brunton to help set the tone for the website design that would follow.

Welcome Home

For an organization that provides food and shelter to those in need, the importance of making the site friendly and inviting was important.  A welcoming homepage highlights the three key areas the organization operates in while making it easy and accessible to all users to navigate or simply get the latest info about Squamish Helping Hands.

A growing need

"There is a growing number of hidden, homeless, and hard to house in the Squamish area. We've made the choice to help."

- Squamish Helping Hands Society

Connecting with those in their local community with the capacity to provide a helping hand is quite possibly the primary role of the SHHS website. Therefore, they need a website that can grow as the need for their services grows.

For us, we took this to heart to ensure staff at SHHS never sit scratching their heads on how to update their website. Indeed, they have way more important things to do with their precious time.
